Restaurant Michel opened in July 2024 in the center of Archaia Epidavros and offers a high level, fine dining experience with focus on fresh Greek seafood. Chef de cuisine / Patron Michel from The Netherlands is willing to expand his team to sustain in the highest quality in his young growing company.
The work:
Restaurant Michel is looking for a Chef de Rang waiter to join our team. We are looking for a dedicated professional to provide exceptional quality and service to our guests. Our Chef de Rang waiter also provides an enjoyable, expertly served beverage or dining experience conforming to our standards of excellence for quality, professionalism and friendliness.
Key Responsibilities:
Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods.
Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen.
Coordinates food timings; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.

· Assist guests with menu selections and accommodate special requests.

· Time management skills: Efficient in prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
· Professional appearance and demeanor: Presentable, with good hygiene and a friendly, approachable attitude.
· Ability to handle pressure: Able to remain calm and composed during busy service hours, managing difficult situations with grace.
· Previous experience in a fine dining or luxury environment: Experience in a similar setting, with knowledge of high-end service standards, is highly desirable.
We are looking for individuals that are highly motivated team players. This role has direct contact with guests and as such good communication skills, as well as an eye for detail are a necessity.
Candidates should have previous experience in F&B in a luxury, fast paced environment.
