Pastry Chef de Partie

Join our culinary team at Restaurant Michel in Archaia Epidavros as Pastry Chef de Partie. Your work will consist of creating elegant, refined pastries, chocolates, ice-cream, desserts and more in a kitchen that strives to achieve the highest level of gastronomy, hospitality, creativity and precision every day.

About the restaurant

Restaurant Michel opened in July 2024 in the center of Archaia Epidavros and offers a high level, fine dining experience with focus on fresh Greek seafood. Chef de cuisine / Patron Michel from The Netherlands is willing to expand his team to sustain in the highest quality in his young growing company.

Your work:

* Supervise and coordinate the preparation of pastry items according to guest orders or as assigned by the chef in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.

* Participate in the production of items according to standards set by the chef.

* Assist in planning for the pastry department according to the needs of the hotel, kitchen and pastry shop.

* Ensure that correct and approved recipes are being worked on.

What we need from you:

* Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience with a strong focus on pastry.

* Experience in a Michelin-starred Restaurant would be a plus.

* A Bachelor’s Degree in culinary arts, pastry, or Hospitality is required.

* Exceptional precision and an eye for detail in plating, presentation, and flavor balance.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.

* Mastery of the english language
